Rag & Bone Pre-Fall 2027 Blurs Day and Night Dressing

Rag & Bone’s pre-fall 2027 collection was designed at the height of summer in New York City, and the brand’s team drew on what they saw around them. According to the source report on the collection, the designers paid close attention to the subtleties of everyday dressing in the Meatpacking District, where the label is based.

Day to night, with ease

Chief Merchandising & Design Officer Jennie McCormick said the clothes in the collection blur the line between daytime and evening. In the showroom, she singled out a dress with special detailing on the back and bias seams that fall gracefully to the floor.

“It could be worn around the city with a pair of sandals, but dressed up for an event at night,” McCormick said. She also described the brand’s customer as irreverent, adding that “she wears her dress because she just loves it.”

New takes on matching sets

Matching sets have become a staple of the Rag & Bone wardrobe, and the pre-fall offering adds some new versions. One is a combination of a utility tank and pants in mulberry silk, which the report describes as easy to wear. Another is a printed organza set, positioned as a dressed-up option that asks little effort of the customer.

The source material does not provide further details on pricing, additional silhouettes or release timing for the collection. What it does make clear is the label’s focus: relaxed pieces with enough polish to move from a city day into an evening occasion, shaped by the neighborhood in which the team works.

The details above come from a showroom visit and the accompanying account of the pre-fall 2027 collection.
