Beauty Marks: Sculptural Hair and Soft Glam Lead the Week

This week’s celebrity beauty highlights, gathered in Vogue’s weekly “Beauty Marks” column, were defined by contrast: sculptural hair paired with soft-focus makeup, and barely-there lips alongside high-impact eyes.

Soft glam and wintry blondes

According to Vogue, Sienna Miller attended the Madden premiere with a blurred rose-pink lip, flushed cheeks and delicately smudged eyes by makeup artist Nina Park. Hairstylist Jenny Cho styled her honey-blonde waves in a loose half-up look.

Emily Blunt opted for a winter blonde in an icy, champagne tone. Renato Campora shaped it into a sculptural updo, while Jenn Streicher added rosy blush, softly defined eyes and a precise red lip. Julie K. created her pale glossy nails.

Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, wore caramel-swirled waves by Chris Appleton, bronzed makeup with a nude lip by Ernesto Casillas, and a pink almond-shaped manicure by Tom Bachik.

Statement hair

At the CFDA Awards, Kate Young wore platinum blonde hair in a sculptural spiral bun by Jacob Rozenberg. A black-and-diamond Taffin jewel sat at its center, which Vogue described as a standout piece of hair jewelry this season.

Victoria Turner’s buttery blonde hair was turned into a double-tiered chignon by George Curran, with two sculptural loops at the nape and one loose strand around the face. Vogue noted the style used products from Kérastase, with makeup by Amir.

Lily Allen’s West End Girl tour has featured six different hairstyles by Chad Maxwell. Vogue’s pick was a tousled half-updo with choppy bangs, teased volume and face-framing tendrils, paired with smoky 1960s-style eyes and a muted rose lip by Lilly Keys.

Kris Jenner, celebrating her birthday, wore a sleek, jet-black micro-bob styled by Justine Marjan, tucked behind the ears and flicked out at the ends. Ash K Holm gave her fluttery lashes, bronzed cheeks, a pink-nude lip and full, feathery brows.

Dramatic eyes and nail art

Kim Petras attended False Idols with waist-skimming platinum hair and wispy bangs by James Lear. Helen Rose added graphic black wings, spiky lashes, frosted inner corners and a glossy, overlined pink lip.

For a London performance, Natanya wore individually placed silver Swarovski crystals tracing jet-black wings, with metallic inner corners and pink blush by Georgia Hope. Her glossy reddish-brunette hair was styled by Essa into a side part with a kiss curl.

On the nail front, Mei Kawajiri decorated extra-long square acrylics with scribbled illustrations, pastel washes and translucent 3D charms, including a tiny beer mug, a white cross and a miniature tart.
